I know everyone’s on this Azealia Banks hype train at the moment, but that’s cool, fair play to here coming from nowhere and now being pretty much everywhere. If anything she’s improving this trend of rapping over House music at the moment, who’s idea was that though? Rapping and house music very rarely works. But I guess it does work with Azealia, I like the 212 track (the original Lazy Jay ‘Float my Boat’ track is still a classic) and look forward to hearing more. Well as it goes, one of the kings of House music has cottoned onto her ability of making ‘rap house’ cool, Derrick Carter. And he’s given away a remix he’s done of ‘212‘, mega. And the instrumental. Mega. Butttt, he said they’re only available for 24 hours? What the hell man, I’m not down with that, but I’m still scared of Derrick so keep it quiet that I’ve uploaded them myself so they’ll be in internet history now. Sorry Dez, don’t be mad.
