You know all those young producers/DJs who are really bloody good and they make you sick because they shouldn’t be that good at such a young age…well here’s some more of those.

NinetySevenSides is a Leeds based record label run by two 14 year old lads, one of whom goes under the alias Happa and he is making some seriously good music at the minute. From what I’ve read on their website & Soundclouds and Tumblrs etc. these chaps are very much about giving their music away for free, which is always nice! Venture over to Happa’s Soundcloud and you’ll find quite a few tracks up for free download including his bootleg of Rye Rye Ft. MIA – Bang as well as some original productions.

If that’s not enough for you then check out the NinetySevenSides Bandcamp page for  a free download of the first release from the label which by a producer named Polkadot. This EP contains 3 tracks, two of which I’d say are very dancefloor ready bass tunes that are really too good to be given away and the other track is a much more downtempo chilled out kind of vibe but would still work nicely in a warm up set.

The lovely people over at Mixmag are once again giving away a blinder of a free MP3 in the form of this lovely little number from the incredible Daedelus. I find it very difficult to describe Daedelus’ music so I’ll try and let the track do most of the talking but apparently most of the vocal samples come from Janet Jackson with a lot of vocal harmonies coming from the Beach Boys but obviously chopped up and woven between glitchy drum hits.

I’ve been following Champion and Formula Records for a while now and I remember Champion putting a load of tracks by someone called Notion in some of his mixes, and they were dope but I couldn’t find much more about this Notion fellow up until recently.

? Red Bull Music Academy: Various Assets – Not For Sale

You may remember me posting about Bondax’s Just Smile For Me a while back, well since then they’ve been very busy with remixes for the likes of Last Japan, Maribou State and Monarchy (which are all great and you should go buy them all). Well now they’re giving away a couple of tracks on their Soundcloud for free! Boiler Room featured the track Just Us on their blog not too long ago, with hype like that you know it’s dope!

Gorgon City is the new project from Foamo & RackNRuin, both of whom are very well established producers/DJs in their own rights! Their first release, The Crypt EP, came out today and is a great example of what can happen when you put two great producers in the same studio together.

The three tracks all feature the kind of bass heavy vibe that both producers are known for in their own rights. The Truth has a more shuffling, garagey beat and a great vocal part provided by Janai. The Crypt has some great chord stabs and a more four-to-the-floor beat with the ragga vocals (courtesy of Navigator & Rubi Dan) driving the track. Lastly, Odyssey starts off a lot more melodic and drops with just the right amount of heaviness so it’ll sound huge in a club but not too lairy.

I’m pretty excited about this collaboration, especially seeing as they are apparently doing live shows together rather than just back to back DJ sets! So hopefully we’ll be hearing & seeing a lot more from Gorgon City soon…

Not heard a lot from Warren G recently, that is until the other day when my twitter feed was just full of retweets by him all pushing this new free track! It’s not a club banger but it’s a nice, decent hip hop tune with Snoop Dogg killing it as only he can. Check it below anyway see what you reckon…

Disclosure have had loads of hype around them recently, and rightly so! If you’ve not already downloaded their free EP yet then what the hell man!? Grab it here and while you’re at it check if they’re coming to a city near you because their live show is awesome! So awesome that SBTRKT has got them supporting him on his UK tour!

Anyway, so yeah we love Disclosure and, as you probably already know, we at Louis Louis also love Mele…so a Mele remix of Disclosure is something we got very excited about! This is a bit different to what I would have expected from a Mele remix (in a good way), the rolling piano chord sequence is driven by the kind of half-step beat and the vocal sample just sets it off nicely.
